I don't feel like I fit in at this place. Granted, it has only been a month, but there is justt this weirdness. I don't think my department head and I are on the same page, pedagogically. Not that I have any issue with different methods, this person is very output oriented. She does not "hear" the possibility that other methods are valid.
It's a strange environment.
