One really cool blogger was just diagnosed.
Another really cool blogger was diagnosed last year and her battle is sheer inspiration.
Two friends of mine also have breast cancer. One caught it early. The other is stage IV and it have metathesized into her bones.
Do me a favor. At the sidebar, I have the button for the Breast Cancer site. (I got it from New Kid's blog a long time ago). Give it a click. Then add it to your blog or home page. Click on it every day and encourage others to click and add it too.
If there is one thing we as women can agree on is that breast cancer sucks and we need to support each other.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

Thank you for this support. I am a breast cancer survivor and it means a lot to me to see you reaching out in sisterhood. For anyone out there who is in chemo, this saved me when I was: ChiliPad - a mattress pad that lets you cool down (or heat up) your bed, mine lets me set any temperature between 46 and 118 degrees. It is great for chemo because of the heat, and chills - and I also use it for my arthritis to keep the swelling down. I think they should have these in hospitals. Hope this helps someone!
great post!
