The Good: Husband brought home a wireless router so I can work while resting on the couch. He cooked dinner, cleaned up the kitchen and took the Boy for a walk. And special props to the Boy for being such a good companion.
The Bad: I can't find anyone to cover my two classes tomorrow. The powers that be are not too keen on my canceling class again. So, I am going to work tomorrow...on crutches.
The Painful: My ankle still hurts.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

Crutches! I know about crutches. Sorry to hear of no backup. How will you get to work? Can you drive?
Take it as easy as you can.

Joy: Husband is driving me to work. He even helped me to my first class!
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Ouch. Sorry to hear about the ankle. That is no fun at all. Just take it easy. Can you just sit in the front of the room? I did that a few years ago. I had surgery before the semester began, so I just at an overhead and taught instead of writing on the board for the first month.
I thought he probably was but I was just kind of worried for a bit. A good friend kind of worried, especially since I have dealt with mobility issues (duh) and they aren't fun!
Glad you have his support. :)
