The Boy got a new bed on Friday. It's an orthopedic dog bed with 3 1/2 inches of foam, plus a bolster for the ultimate in canine comfort.
When I brought the box into the house, somehow the Boy knew that the box was for him. He kept pawing at it as I opened it. When I set it down, this was his reaction. Yes, his tail is wagging!
And of course, he had to grab one of his toys to enjoy while relaxing.
That is one happy Boy!

Where did you get it? We have been looking for a nice thick one like that for our pooch but we only find really thin ones or ones that are too small for our German Shepard. He would love 3.5 inches of foam!
Drs. Foster and Smith. They have the best products.
Here's the link to the bed I bought:

The Boy is a German Shepard-Lab mix and he is starting to show some degenerative changes. I thought that bed would be more comfortable for him!
GSDs rule!
I wondered if he had hip or back problems. He looks so happy!
Are YOU feeling better since your spill the other day?
Yes...much better. Thanks so much for asking!
He's one happy looking boy! We got the F and S catalog(and I do mean CATalog) the other day--who knew how many things my cats have been living without?
Wow that is awesome. Our pooch needs that for sure! He will not slow down for anything- including stairs and it is starting to worry me. We have hard wood floors in most of the house so the two beds we already have for him are just not enough =)
Taking a quick break from grading jail to say that he looks soooooooo happy! What a lovely Boy!
Dancingfish: We have hardwood too in our house and the regular beds just were not cutting it. The Boy would sneak downstairs and sleep on the couch. Now, I can't get him out of his new bed!
New Kid: So glad you stopped by. The Boy is a great distraction from grading jail.
