- It is crazy hot in Elsewhere. Yesterday, it was 100 with a heat index of 114. It's supposed to be the same for today.
- I am traveling to Lake Effect Snow Central to visit friends in less than two weeks. It will be nice to see everyone. I can't wait!!!!
- The trip is also a mule run. I want to pick up some items that I can't find in Elsewhere. I am wondering how I can transport an ice cappuccino from my favorite place.
- I am in a better mood after the craziness of the last couple of weeks. Have I figured it all out? Nope. But at least I am in a better mood.
- Did I mention that it is crazy hot? It's 10:15 AM and already it's 88 degrees!
- The Boy is doing well with his training. It is taking a little longer that normal because of the heat. Husband and I are keeping his sessions short so he doesn't get overheated.
- I really like my teaching schedule...only three classes and I've taught them all before. YAY!
- That leaves more time of administrative work. BOO!
- Our patio tomatoes are taking their good 'ol sweet time. We have a few green ones. The basil is doing very well.
- I could really go for Caprese Salad right now.
- Choice A arrived. They are very comfortable, even with the heel height. They are made by Sofft, so they are meant to be comfortable. I have these which are really comfortable.
- All in all, things are better.

I hope that your trip to Lake Effect Snow Central is a good one! It's nice that you had enough of a good experience there that you miss some of the people and some of the things there, even as you have moved to a place that is better for you now.
Glad you're feeling better about things. This heat is killing me.

I hate this heat -- 105 here the last two days and finally only 92 today YAY!! I know you'll be glad to get out of it for a visit elsewhere! Glad things are looking up!!
