This week can be summarized in one word...rough.
I am dealing with whinny and needy students, chaos and disorder in the program and people at all levels who think that doing their job is optional.
The end result is that I am tired, grouchy and not in the mood to do much of anything, even write.
And, it's only midterm.
Sigh.

change is really hard and your department is going through a lot of change right now. Sounds like you are one of the few that are prepared to handle. Take care of yourself. I'm sure it will get better.
Hang in there, Seeking Solace. Ditto what Brigando said, and hopefully, things will look a bit better after some down-time this weekend.
You need some pampering!! Make sure you get it this weekend, and on Monday things will look better!
