Today marks the 21st anniversary of my father's death.
I spoke with my mom today. We reminisced about my dad, all the stories, funny sayings and mannerism that made my dad so special. Then my mom said something that really stuck me.
"When you stop talking about the person you love, when you stop thinking about them, they are gone."
So, I am going to keep talking and remembering my dad. Because to me, he lives on.

- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.
