Cue the whistling...
The Good:
Husband's boss, his boss's boss and the head of the project group are OK with Husband telecommuting from Target State. Husband is now waiting for legal and HR to do their thing and give us the green light. The company's legal counsel is a real dill-hole, so I am sure he will take his good ol' time on this one.
The Bad:
Husband just found out that everyone at his company is required to take a 10% pay cut. At least it's better than the massive layoffs from last year. Husband thinks it a good sign that the company is trying to keep what employees they have. The cut doesn't hurt us too much, it just means less money we have to put in our emergency stock pile. I am looking at more ways to cut back.
The Ugly (but soon to be Good):
Still some projects that we need to do before putting the house on the market. Mostly painting and cracked ceiling repair. We lost a weekend because of my illness and Husband having a minor version of the same thing. We should start to catch up on Saturday.
Soon, all will be good.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.
