I am in a state of cranks.
The "whatever you want to call in bug" given to me by the girl at the phleobotomist office has subsided, thanks to doing my best Tony Montana impression with Zicam.(You know, the scene in Scarface where he does the header into a pile of coke?) NyQuil shots at bedtime also helped. But, I am very tired and worn out. I have not been to the gym in over a week. The RA flare from last week's bitter cold followed by this bug. My brain feels like mush.
On a related note, I am feeling kinda bad that I have only made it to one pilates class this session. Weather and the RA have thwarted my efforts. I am debating chucking the rest of the session and restarting on March 1st when the new session starts. It would be a fresh start, plus the weather and the RA may be more willing to cooperate in March.
I need to regroup and get back in gear. Cranks suck.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

I'm sorry that things have sucked for you lately with one thing after another. I am glad you're on the mend though.
