The Boy went to daycare today. He really needs it. He has a serious case of canine cabin fever! It's so hard to take him for a walk with all the snow and ice. He hasn't seen his doggie friends in two weeks, so I am sure he is having tail-wagging fun.
So, I am home alone today. I am debating getting out of the house today just to get a change of scenery. Husband and I will probably go out to lunch, either Thai or Indian. I am thinking of going to the mall afterward. The snow has stopped for now, so this is a good chance to get out before the next wave hits.
In addition to my house-selling book, I am reading
Women & Money: Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny by Suze Orman I am a Suze junkie. I watch her show every Saturday night on CNBC. This is a fantastic book. Although I consider myself financially savvy, I have found some great financial tips. But, the best part of the book is where she discusses how many women have dysfunctional relationships with money and our feelings of self worth or lack-thereof. She talks about we can empower ourselves not only financially but personally. I am planning passing this one on when I am done!
Hope all of you have a great day!!!

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

That Suze Orman book is great! I downloaded it free from Oprah's site when she was on. Love it!
driving to the eye doctor was messy, I hope it's better in the North towns.
At the same time everyone canceled their appointments so I had her unlimited time to get everything done, which was nice. Can't wait for my new glasses to come in, you'll love them.
