Is the result when you combine a cold/sinus bug that you've had since last Monday that has settled in your throat, combined with yelling during the Steelers-Ravens game. And I don't want any comments about the Holmes' touchdown!
My first day off freedom and I can hardly talk!!!
I am going to venture out to do some shopping. Husband's company adopts two families every Christmas. At the Christmas party, there are tags with gift suggestions for them. I usually wait for everyone to cherry pick the kids and pick the adults. This year, there were more kids' tags left, so I am looking for books and sports stuff. It is always so much fun and it makes you remember what the season is all about.
Also, I want to go to the gym. I did a light workout on Wednesday, no water aerobics, just the elliptical. I've been a little lax this month and now that I have time, I would like to keep my butt from getting any wider. Water aerobics or elliptical will be a game time decision for tonight.
OK, time to get moving. It's looking rather ugly outside.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

I had the no voice problem for almost 2 weeks in November. I didn't feel that bad but I went from hoarse to zero voice and slowly back to normal. I'll hope you don't have such an extended time with it. It's hardly fair for you to be finished grading and not feel good. :(
That game was something else, and it was surely a TD! :)
Have fun shopping!
