Water Aerobics isn't for sissies.... Sometimes it takes a while to know how much to modify for your own needs. I also found that I was much more sore when I was in shallow water. My favorite depth is to have the water at about my armpits... sadly, my health club chain can't get a pool of decent depth together with a minimally good instructor.
Seriously! I am the youngest person in the class! The older ladies kicked my ass!!!
