I just found two typos in my CV which was sent to a few perspective employers!
How the hell did I miss that???
Good grief, could that be the reason why I have a bunch of rejection letters?

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

That's really annoying!
The exact same thing happened to me! I had 3 people read it, I myself read it numerous times and I still missed them. SO ANNOYING!
It's so easy to miss your own mistakes. The first edition of the grammar workbook I co-wrote came out in August, and even with our internal editing and a copy-editor at the publisher's (who I thought did a bang-up thorough job!), we still had some mistakes slide through.
Oh, I hate that. I found a really poorly written sentence in a cover letter I'd already sent out. Grrr.
It really grinds my gears because I constantly proofread. I even have Husband proofread!
