I finished the cover letter, and I must say, it's rather brilliant. Keep your fingers crossed. It's definitely in a place where Husband and I would love to live. Also, it's a place where Husband will have no trouble finding a job.
Otherwise, it has been pretty quiet on the job front. Some of these positions start this fall, so what the hell is the hold up? I know, one does not know what goes on behind the scenes, but still.
I am making good progress on the Cape May list. Did you know that you can get AAA Trip Ticks on line? Awesome feature. So much better than MapQuest or Google Maps. We've had such bad luck with those.
In other news, today is the day that N goes to the doctor. I am going with her for moral support. She is putting on a brave face, but I know she is scared to death. I am glad she does not have to do this alone.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

Hugs to her! (and you!)
Best wishes to your friend N. She's so lucky to have a friend like you!
I hope all went with your friend.
Good luck with the job applications. And hope your friend's doing okay.
I hope your friend is doing all right. Did everything go okay with her procedure?
