Is it too much to ask that when you send me your essays via email that you send them as an attachment and not write the entire essay as an email message?

That might be something they picked up from other profs. Some don't allow attachments.
OMG - I *hate* it when my students do that! Why on earth would any prof want to scroll through 60 or 70 long emails?!
