I got a rejection letter from Alma Mater Law School. I thought I would at least get an interview.
I feel like crap right now.

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

So sorry to hear that. I know that feeling, and it isn't much fun. I got so many rejections before I got my current position that I had just about decided to see about giving up on a faculty position, and had even started sending out resumes to companies looking for non-faculty jobs. Then, my current college hired me. So, hang in there.
oh no! I'm so sorry. :(
Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. Hugs... I hope something turns up very soon and am sure that when it does your new employer will realize how very lucky they are to have you.
Oh, no!
I'm sorry, that sucks. :( I have lots of experience with rejection too. But when you do get your job (and you will), I'm sure it will be so much better than what Alma Mater Law School would have offered you.
I am so sorry. Someone noted to me recently that the job market is really bad right now (hear that Bush?). I too am often surprised that I am not even getting interviews (esp. since I am not applying to academic jobs like you - so they interview far more people). I hope this means that there is simply a much better match for you out there.
Oh, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear it.
:(
That sucks. Very rude of them, too. Another reason never to give them any money.
I'm really, really sorry. :(
I'm so sorry! That really sucks. Hang in there- something better will turn up.
Bleah! Keeping my fingers crossed that your dream job is just around the corner!
Am sorry :(
That's crappy. Go make yourself a martini and wish evil things upon people who probably deserve it.
this sucks, i am so sorry...
