What is up with all the 80's fashion? I lived through it the first time and unless you are super skinny, it does not do anyone justice.

I'm sorry, but I don't even think it does the super skinny justice. There is a reason why neon colors should have been left alone, and why big bows and cloth flowers needed to die with the 80's. No one, not even the models in my magazines look good in this. Just saying.
Sorry, I feel that way about the 70's styles. I lived through that once, not again. My 33 year old d-i-l loves the look, sews and sells clothes from that era.
I couldn't agree more. I was picking through jeans with neon spatter paint and other various atrocities when I went school shopping for Kizzy and thinking oh, honey....no. this doesn't look good on anybody. I agree, though, that the super skinny jeans and what not are especially unflattering on some bodies.
The other day I saw super skinny jeans on a boy. Late teens? I saw too much.
Yeah, the super skinny jeans on boys is way wrong.
And the neon has to go! If I start seeing acid wash jeans...
