Dudes, there is an EVIL virus out there.
I spent the last three days having an up close and personal relationship with my toilet. On Saturday, I was feeling queasy and had this low grade headache. It wasn't a migraine, because of the location of the headache. Nothing was staying down. I spent all of Sunday night practically sleeping in my bathroom. Husband took me to the Immediate Care Clinic for help. (GML, you were right, that place is awesome!) They gave me IV drugs to rehydrate me and gave me some meds for the stomach problem. The Doctor said that there are a few stomach and sinus bugs out there.
Well, the end result is that I am pretty much on a liquid diet as my tummy is trying to recover. I can "stomach" rice and a little toast, but that's about it.
I had to cancel a lunch date for tomorrow with GML and two of my homeys from Former College.
So not fair.
Oh well, I have a lot of stuff on the DVR to watch....

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

Oh, you poor thing. That really is an evil thing to have to endure. I hope you are all better very soon.

Ugh. We've had some bad viruses here this winter too. Hope you feel better soon.
Ugh, that sucks! I hope you feel better soon!
It's been going around here too. feel better!
On no, sounds miserable. I had something similar in Feb but just for 1 day! I can't even imagine.
Glad you're on the mend.
Yuck! I hope you feel better tomorrow.
Oh, that's where Finegan went... he was the nasty little old man who lived in my tummy during chemo. He would tolerate toast, rice, plain cottage chese yoghert and an occasional jello... for spice :). I hope he moves on soon.
ITPF: So that's what the rat bastard's name is. I am so glad he's gone!
