On The Mend

Posted by Seeking Solace |

Thanks to a double dose pack of steroids, I am doing much better. I think this flare was caused by the upper respiratory infection I had at the beginning of the month, plus all the stress of the trip to Target State. Today is the first day that I have felt "normal" in over a week.

So what has been going on in my world?

Not much. When I have a bad flare, I can't do much of anything, except stretch on the couch and watch TV. I was so happy that March Madness is going on because it helped pass the time. My brackets are a hot mess!

Husband does a wonderful job of taking care of me, from helping me in and out of the bathtub to helping me dress, to peeling a banana. He's my hero.

And the Boy? He does what he does best, gentle snuggling and licking my swollen hands, convinced that doggie spit will fix it.

I am a lucky girl!
