The Waiting Room

~ Thanks for all your well wishes, here and at Facebook.

~ I am doing a little better today. Still some pain and swelling.

~ The Boy is doing a good job of keeping me warm. Husband has done a great job taking care of the house.

~ It is unbelievable cold here. On top of the cold, we are supposed to get some snow. What's next...locusts? No, they would freeze to death. Maybe penguins and polar bears.

~ I've been watching the coverage of the aftermath of the Hudson River plane crash. Absolutely amazing. The pilot and those who came to help are truly heroes.

~ I think the Boy should get a job chasing geese. He is a Shepherd, so he likes to herd things. And he loves to chase birds. He could earn his fee in treats! He would LOVE it.
