About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

That. is. so. wrong. Come'on people!
Can beat that - they've started selling Cadbury's Cream Eggs, which, back in the day, would only be out during Easter.
I know! I heard a parent telling her kids yesterday (re some heart shaped crap),"oh! You know that those are for? Valentines Day is coming soon!" Sounding all excited and everything. Sorry lady, Valentines Day has nothing on Christmas.
No waaay!
I guess our consumerism really knows no bounds.
Caroline: You win, that is crazy!
Well, they had the Christmas stuff up as soon as the back-to-school supplies were pulled from the shelves. The commercialization of the holidays really turns me off to the whole thing.
WHAT??? NO! One holiday at a time is right!!!
Susan: Thanks for stopping by!
Brigindo - you got it! Consumerism is key. Unfortunately, I'm not surprised to hear this.
Seriously, so wrong!
