Between winter storms, that is.
Yesterday, we got 10 inches. That is not a big deal in LES, but it just kept snowing nonstop from 8 AM until 6 PM or so. The wind didn't help matters. And it is COLD!!!
We are supposed to get another storm tomorrow. Another eight inches or so.
The best quote came from Husband yesterday. He came home from work around 1 PM yesterday to avoid the heinousness. After shoveling our drive and sidewalk for about an hour he said:
"I am so sorry I brought you to this god-forsaken tundra!"
No worries, dear. This is last time we have to deal with it.

- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.

We also got 10 inches and all of the schools closed, due to the timing. It all hit in the early morning hours and continued to snow 1.5-2 inches an hour, until 9am.
We are to get about 2-4 inches tomorrow. Not much but it was reported, due to the wind conditions, that it could be near blizzard conditions. Nice, huh?
I found some fun snow pictures that I posted on my blog. lol The storm was good for one thing!

too much snow! so glad you will not have to deal with that sort of winter anymore after this one.
It's not the snow that bugs me is how stupid people are about driving--SLOW THE HECK DOWN and GET OFF THE PHONE. Oh and not getting plowed on our street makes me mad too. But I am very happy we'll have a white Christmas, I was afraid we wouldn't
Rented Life: Or how about the crowds that the store... people stocking up on bread and milk!!!
