All is quiet the day after the last day of class. My students were warned about what happens if I receive emails asking me if I have figured out their grades.
No word on the missing job post. No one has responded to my email. I think a phone call may be necessary, but I will wait until Monday. Geez, I sound like a stalker!
Today is a day of rest and fun. I am meeting GML for coffee, plus a little Christmas browsing at this new Christmas store near my house. I also have to stop at Le Target for a few things...hope I get out of there without breaking the bank!
Tonight, Husband and I are going to his company Christmas party. What happens when you get a room full of engineers together with alcohol? Well, if it's anything like last year, it will be heavy metal karaoke! One guy sang "Dr Feelgood" by Motley Crue (I am not sure how to type an umlaut over the "u", and I speak German...you would think I would know!). I was amazed the he kept up with the lyrics!
Anyway, I won't enter grading jail until Sunday. So I am gonna have some fun until then!

About Me
- Seeking Solace
- I am a college professor who is fumbling through the chaos of academia, rheumatoid arthritis, working on my PhD and just being a 40 something woman. I used to be a lawyer, which made me a snarky little person. I have a wonderful Husband and a German Shepherd named Junior. They help keep me sane.
