Husband is not sure how to take this. Does it mean he is old fashioned? I don't think so. He is just a great guy.

wow, the husband is quite superior i see! are the questions different?
I think so. Some of them just show that he is a nice guy, not a chauvinist at all.
I think the husband's questions are about being considerate and kind, while the wife's questions have more to do with being subservient and keeping house. Go figure.
I think you can tell your husband not to worry. Despite being a failure as a 1930s wife, I would've been a "superior" 1930s husband. And I'm reasonably sure I'm not a chauvinist! :-)
